Boardwalk Talk : The DJ Discussion & Souvenirs 2017
The Boardwalk Talk was inspired by a program run by then owner Andrew Kirtzman in 2011. Our topic would be a DJ discussion with the many DJs of Fire Island.

Having a bunch of DJs in a room talking about music was a natural, but mixing seasoned DJs with up an coming was a whole other thing, and the results were amazing. The stories and interaction was like the actual mixing of two classic vinyl records.

In the 2017 season we decided to mix it up. Fire Island Classics was our theme of Souvenirs. All the songs you remember from those summers long ago. Pairing two iconic DJs of the era’s Robbie Leslie & Warren Gluck gave it great potential. Add in a live feed from Sirius XM nationally and it was a huge success. After many years we decided to make this our benefit as much work goes into it.
It was a great moment to hear the DJs interact about the experience.
The late DJ Warren Gluck was a big part of our Souvenirs history.
