Promoter Daniel Nardicio had booked the up and coming singer at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove in 2008 for a mere $500. As the booking approached , Gaga’s music blew up and she became a much bigger star, commanding way larger numerical amounts of cash. He generously wrote to her, saying he knew she would inevitably have to cancel the gig and he totally understood that. But Gaga replied, basically ” Are you kidding?” The nouveau chanteuse kept her word and did the performance… Photos by Koitz.
